    Stocking Trailer

One of the easiest solutions we had was the dilemma of stocking the Evening Hole. Although it is basically C&R, poaching, predation, and nateral loss causes the numbers of trout to drop over time. Thus the ODWC needs to go in and stock every so often. They also need to stock the 500 brood pairs the LMFRF purchases in the winter to have a wild population of trout in the river. The Corp of Engineers, who previous to the restoration of the area, couldn’t of cared less about it, now wouldn’t let anyone drive onto their precious wetlands. Sheesh! The ODWC had an ATV which was acceptable so we bought a trailer to mount the trout tank on. Awesome!
